Pre-Job Brief Mastery

#16 Final Thoughts

"Today is only one day in all the days that will ever be. But what will happen in all the other days that ever come can depend on what you do today." Ernest Hemingway

I want to let you know what an honor it was to work with you over the past few months. I've had the opportunity now to have one on one conversations with many of you, and I continue to be impressed with your dedication to your work and your thoughtfulness in our interactions.

Doing things like…

  • Conducting the best possible pre-job brief
  • Becoming the best coworker and leader
  • Identifying all possible hazards
  • Ensuring everyone gets home safe at the end of the day

is a career long journey. Each skill you master, makes you better, makes you safer. And it puts you in a position to master the next skill that will make you better and safer. Even though there is always room to grow, please be sure to give yourself credit for all the things you do well, all the good habits you already have, and all the actions you're already taking to stay safe at work.

Again, thank you for showing up each day willing to work on bringing more engagement and interaction into your work day. It's been a privilege to be on this journey with you, and I very much appreciate our time together.

I care deeply about your success. Please reach out via the method that is most convenient to you. My phone number is 970-581-7681. My email is sharon@habitmasteryconsulting.com. You can also request assistance directly from The Habit Challenge App.

Sign Up For The 60 Day Habit Challenge

Liberty Utilities has invested a significant amount of time and energy to develop a consistent process for conducting a pre-job brief, because we’ve identified it as one of the most important tools for conducting work safely.

We hope you’ve been inspired to have more engagement and ask more questions during the pre-job brief, but we also know that inspiration is not enough. Creating a new habit is hard, and that’s why this training is partnered with The 6- Day Habit Challenge.

The Habit Challenge app will help you remember to practice this new skill until it becomes an easy and natural part of how you approach your work.

On March 31st or April 28th, Sharon Lipinski will be online to walk you through getting the app installed and starting the challenge. Both sessions start at 2pm Eastern and last for 30 minutes.
